Title:
Big
Rig
Dreams
Growing
up,
I
always
dreamed
of
driving
big
rigs.
I
loved
the
power,
the
sheer
size,
and
the
freedom
of
the
open
road.
Little
did
I
know
that
one
day
I
would
make
that
dream
a
reality.
My
first
job
out
of
high
school
was
working
in
a
warehouse.
It
was
a
tough
gig,
but
I
knew
I
had
to
start
somewhere.
I
spent
my
days
loading
and
unloading
trucks,
watching
the
drivers
come
and
go.
I
envied
them,
but
I
also
admired
them.
They
seemed
to
have
it
all:
the
independence,
the
adventure,
the
camaraderie.
So
I
decided
to
take
the
plunge.
I
enrolled
in
a
truck
driving
school
and
got
my
commercial
driver's
license.
It
wasn't
easy,
but
it
was
worth
it.
Soon
enough,
I
was
behind
the
wheel
of
my
own
big
rig.
I'll
never
forget
my
first
trip.
I
was
nervous
as
hell,
but
also
excited.
The
hum
of
the
engine,
the
smell
of
diesel,
the
feeling
of
the
steering
wheel
in
my
hands
–
it
was
all
so
thrilling.
As
I
drove
down
the
highway,
watching
the
scenery
change
from
one
state
to
another,
I
knew
that
I
had
found
my
calling.
But
being
a
truck
driver
isn't
all
fun
and
games.
It's
hard
work,
and
it
can
be
lonely.
You
spend
long
hours
on
the
road,
away
from
your
family
and
friends.
You
have
to
deal
with

traffic,
bad
weather,
and
mechanical
breakdowns.
And
you
have
to
be
vigilant
at
all
times,
watching
out
for
other
drivers,
pedestrians,
and
obstacles.
But
despite
the
challenges,
I
wouldn't
trade
this
life
for
anything.
I
love
the
sense
of
independence
and
self-reliance
that
comes
with
the
job.
I
love
meeting
new
people
and
seeing
new
places.
And
I
love
the
satisfaction
of
delivering
a
load
on
time
and
safely.
So
here's
to
all
the
big
rigs
out
there,
and
the
drivers
who
make
them
go.
Keep
on
trucking,
my
friends.
The
open
road
awaits.
